Around 40 ceasefire violations by the Azerbaijani army were registered along the contact line with Nagorno Karabakh overnight on November 1-2.

In the reporting period, Azeri troops used various caliber firearms to fire some 560 shots towards the Armenian positions. Also, Azeri troops used an RPG-7 grenade launcher and an under-barrel grenade launcher north of the contact line.

The Karabakh frontline troops mainly remained committed to the ceasefire retaliating only in case of extreme necessity.

More than 55 ceasefire violations by the Azerbaijani army were registered along the contact line with Nagorno Karabakh the previous night.
