  Yerevan to host KIN Women's International Film Festival November 2, 2016 - 11:30 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The 13th edition of KIN Women's International Film Festival will be held in Yerevan on November 4-8, which will feature 60 movies from 20 countries. The word "kin" means a woman in Armenian. The Armenia-hosted festival seeks to promote women’s creativity, establish a network among female filmmakers from different parts of the world and give an insight into various cultures. Also, the event aims to address through films issues of violence, inequality, discrimination and other problems related to women’s rights. Zeynep Koprulu from Turkey is among this year's guests of the festival which will feature short, documentary, animated and feature films from around the world.   Top stories The creative crew of the Public TV had chosen 13-year-old Malena as a participant of this year's contest. She called on others to also suspend their accounts over the companies’ failure to tackle hate speech. Penderecki was known for his film scores, including for William Friedkin’s “The Exorcist”, Stanley Kubrick’s “The Shining”.
