Phil Collins to headline British Summer Time in Hyde ParkNovember 8, 2016 - 14:27 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Phil Collins‘ comeback tour continues to grow even larger – with the former Genesis turned solo icon announcing a London show headlining British Summer Time at Hyde Park, according to NME. The ‘In The Air Tonight’ star had already announced a run of shows throughout Europe as part of his ‘Not Dead Yet’ tour. But now, the biggest yet comes with a massive outdoor show at London’s iconic Hyde Park on Friday 30 June 2017 – following in the footsteps of recent headliners such as Stevie Wonder, The Rolling Stones, The Libertines, Arcade Fire, Blur, The Strokes, Florence & The Machine and many more. ”The reaction from the British public has been overwhelming,” said Collins. “I can’t wait to play Hyde Park and see everyone there.” He added: “I will be playing all of the songs that people love.” There will be a pre-sale on November 8, before tickets go on general sale from 9am on Friday November 11. A full run of support acts across several stages is yet to be announced. This new date leaves a gap in Phil’s schedule for Glastonbury 2017, NME said.
