Anthony Hopkins, Colin Farrell in “Solace” thriller trailer (video) November 11, 2016 - 13:37 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - A new trailer for Lionsgate's thriller movie "Solace" has been released. It features Anthony Hopkins' John Clancy, a retired doctor with psychic abilities who is asked to help FBI stop serial killer Charles Ambrose, played by Colin Farrell, AceShowbiz said. The trailer opens with FBI agent Joe Merriwether (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) saying he "needs" Clancy's help to solve the murder case. One scene shows the former physician touching a female victim, before his intuitive power leads him on the trail of Ambrose. They find it difficult to capture Ambrose because he has the same abilities as Clancy's. "He's just like me. He sees things," Clancy says. "Only he's better. A whole lot better. He's way beyond me," he notes, "Something bad is gonna happen. Something really bad." Directed by Alfonso Poyart, "Solace" follows psychic doctor Clancy who lives in isolation for two years since the death of his daughter. He is then asked by his friend Joe, an FBI special agent, to help him solve several murders committed by serial killer Ambrose. The problem is that Ambrose is also psychic, and far ahead of Clancy. Also starring Abbie Cornish, Matt Gerald and Janine Turner, the crime thriller is coming to U.S. theaters on December 16.
