New clip for Michael Fassbender’s "Assassin's Creed" hits the web (video) December 2, 2016 - 14:33 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Fox has debuted a new clip of "Assassin's Creed" at The Game Awards. Unlike the previous clips which highlight the present-day Callum Lynch (Michael Fassbender), the extended clip puts its focus on his ancestor Aguilar de Nerha in the time of the Spanish Inquisition, AceShowbiz reports. The more-than-one-minute video shows Aguilar engaging in a "carriage chase" with some bad guys in the 15th century Spain. While his fellow assassins are facing off the enemies, he attempts to save a boy who is being caged in a horse-drawn carriage before it falls from a cliff. Set to arrive in U.S. theaters this year on December 21, "Assassin's Creed" centers on Callum Lynch who discovers he is a descendant of the secret Assassins society when he explores the memories of his ancestor Aguilar and gains the skills of a Master Assassin. The action flick is set in the same world as Ubisoft's "Assassin's Creed" video games, but is not a direct adaptation. It's supported by Marion Cotillard, Jeremy Irons, Michael K. Williams, Ariane Labed and Brendan Gleeson among others. Top stories The creative crew of the Public TV had chosen 13-year-old Malena as a participant of this year's contest.
