Ibrahimovic takes full credit for Mkhitaryan's scorpion kick goal

PanARMENIAN.Net - Henrikh Mkhitaryan wowed football fans all over the world on Boxing Day when he scored his stunning scorpion kick goal against Sunderland.

The Manchester United attacker beautifully arched his body to get his heel on a Zlatan Ibrahimovic cross which fell behind him.

Connecting perfectly, the ball sailed into the left side of the goal and caused Old Trafford to erupt.

But hold on, take all of that away - because Zlatan Ibrahimovic has now taken sole responsibility for the goal - as seen in the video above, The Mirror says.

In an interview with Carling , the Armenian was asked if he practised scorpion kicks in training, he said: "That kind of goal you can't practise you just have to let it flow by itself."

But when Zlatan was asked if the United players had attempted the scorpion kicks in training, he answered: "Yes, we trained a couple of weeks before and I said exactly how to do the movement.

"The pass needed to be perfect, so it went good."
