Robert Kocharian supports Serge Sargsyan for presidency
With the exception of Prime Minister Serge Sargsyan, there is no political figure in Armenia who could serve as the republic's President, RA leader's Spokesman Victor Soghomonyan told a news conference in Yerevan.

According to him, Robert Kocharian's position has not changed and will not change before the elections. "President Kocharian has numerously stated that in his opinion Serge Sargsyan is the only statesman eligible for the post," he said.

When commenting on RA first President Levon Ter-Petrosyan's nomination, Mr Soghomonyan said Ter-Petrosyan possesses a constitutional right to file his candidacy.
