Thousands of people rally against Saakashvili in Tbilisi
At least 100,000 protesters are estimated to have gathered at Rustaveli Avenue in Tbilisi, outside the parliament building, Paata Zakareishvili, a member of the Republican Party of Georgia, told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter

The atmosphere is normal, police don't interfere, he said.

"Our demands are absolutely constitutional. We urge pre-term parliamentary elections and do not intend to resort to violence," he said.

Meanwhile, Director of the Caucasus Media Institute Alexander Iskandaryan said revolution is not likely in Georgia.

October 17, five opposition parties signed a manifest on unification which aims at overthrow of Saakashvili regime and establishment of parliamentary-presidential republic through pre-term parliamentary elections.
