Semneby: Yerevan and Baku comprehend menace of talks cessation
"Both Yerevan and Baku comprehend the menace of cessation of Karabakh talks," EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus Peter Semneby said. "Talks are continued despite disappointments. I do think that both sides understand that all achievements of the Prague process will be lost if the talks are broken off. It will be extremely difficult to resume the process, no matter who will be elected President in Armenia and Azerbaijan," he said.

Mr Semneby voiced regret that "months and years pass but Armenians and Azeris do not have any contacts."

"A whole generation has grown up in unawareness of life on the opposite side. The worst thing is that they cultivate the image of an enemy. The longer the situation lasts the harder it will be to find a solution to the Nagorno Karabakh conflict," he said, Mediamax reports.
