Kosovo talks to resume in Brussels today
Following a session of the EU Foreign Ministers, new round of talks on Kosovo's status through the mediation of U.S.-EU-Russia troika will open in Brussels today.

It will be extremely hard to achieve a common European stance on recognition of Kosovo's independence, said Luxemburg Foreign Minister Jean Asselborn.

Austrian Foreign Minister Ursula Plassnik said the European Union hopes to find a solution on Kosovo in the framework of U.S.-EU-Russia troika. "However, we have to comprehend that compromise might not be found," she said, DPA news agency reports.

Wolfgang Ischinger, the European Union's special envoy for the talks acknowledged that it's very difficult to find common points between Serbians and Kosovo Albanians till December 10.
