NKR President advisor going to run for RA President

PanARMENIAN.Net - Arman Melikian, NKR President's advisor on external relations, has decided to run for the post of President of Armenia. "I have already handed in my resignation. Levon Ter-Petrosyan's approach to the Karabakh problem and Prime Minister Serge Sargsyan's stance on struggle against corruption are inadmissible for me," Melikian told a news conference in Yerevan.

"Levon Ter-Petrosyan still stands for return of 6 regions forming NKR's security belt. Presently, there is no political interest in surrender of territories. I think that NKR should become a full-fledged party to talks while Armenia should deal with resolving the problem of refugees and, finally, annul the edict of the Armenian SSR on annexation of NKAO to Armenia," he emphasized adding that the burden of the Karabakh conflict moved to Yerevan, what is fundamentally wrong.
