New OSCE CiO to support MG efforts for Karabakh resolution
"Unfortunately, the process of settlement of conflicts in Moldova and Georgia has produced no effect so far. We should call on the sides to energize dialogue and I, as a new Chairman-in-Office, will support the international mediators' efforts for resolution of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict," OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Finnish Foreign Minister Ilkka Kanerva said during the session of the OSCE Council of Foreign Ministers.

For his part, Czech Foreign Minister Karel Schwarzenberg emphasized that "conflicts in Azerbaijan, Georgia and Moldova distract attention of heads of state from social and economic development and the OSCE should spare no effort for promote settlement of these conflicts," APA reports.
