Rihanna “to release new album this year”June 20, 2017 - 10:37 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Is Rihanna going to release a new album soon? Amid her busy schedule as a business woman, the 29-year-old singer reportedly has been spending a lot of time in the studio to make sure that the follow-up to 2016's "Anti" arrives by the end of this year, AceShowbiz said. "Rihanna is super excited to bring new music to her fans and hopefully get back on the road possibly as early as the end of this year," a source tells HollywoodLife.com. "She has been spending her days in the studio hard at work on her ninth studio album." The upcoming album seemingly will be a star-studded project as it will feature collaborations with some A-list musicians. "On the new album, Rihanna has several collaborations with big artists, many of whom she has been featured on their tracks," the source continues. "Some of the new music will have a dancehall or reggae feel to it to reflect her island roots." Fans may look forward to a surprise music soon, because the Barbadian songstress will release a single to precede the new album. "She hopes to drop a secret track soon with the rest of the album to follow later this year," the source shares. Rih's latest music was her collaboration with DJ Khaled on the DJ's latest single "Wild Thoughts". In the music video, Rih celebrated her island roots as she sported sexy and exotic garb.
