ARMENIAN FOREIGN MINISTRY DELEGATION DISCUSSED REGIONAL SECURITY QUESTIONS WITH US ADMINISTRATION REPRESENTATIVES
Questions of bilateral cooperation and regional security were discussed by members of the Armenian delegation with representatives of the US administration the day before yesterday. As reported by the Armenian foreign ministry press service, the delegation headed by deputy foreign minister of Armenia Ruben Shugarian met with US undersecretary for political affairs Mark Grossman, deputy assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian affairs Lynn Pasco in Washington. The Armenian delegation also had a meeting with Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director for European and Eurasian Affairs Daniel Fried at the US National Security Council. The parties also discussed questions relating to the situation in the Middle East. Let us note that the Armenian foreign ministry delegation was in US September 24-29 to participate in the 5-th sitting of the US-Armenian inter-governmental working group and to hold political consultations.
