New "Aquaman" set pics tease exciting action scenes

PanARMENIAN.Net - As filming on "Aquaman" continues, new photos from the set have emerged online. Making their way out via DC fans' Twitter account, some of the photos tease an exciting action scene featuring Jason Momoa's title character, AceShowbiz reports.

Momoa or his stunt double can be seen dressing as the King of Atlantis in the photos. It appears that the superhero, whose alter-ego is Arthur Curry, is fighting with his enemy as he is seen being thrown through a window before falling off the balcony.

The rest of the photos feature a closer look at the Atlantean armor in the James Wan-directed film. One picture finds the heavy armor used by the Atlantean soldiers who were seen chasing Amber Heard's Mera across the rooftops in the previous on-set photos.

"Aquaman" tells the story of Arthur Curry, a half-man and half-Atlantean, who leads Atlantic Ocean and tries to gain his glory. Enter his half brother, Orm (Patrick Wilson), who is as powerful and creating a hindrance that puts everything in havoc. Aquaman is obliged to prevent his evil half-brother from snatching his empire of high seas.

Scheduled to hit theaters across the U.S. on December 21, 2018, the film also stars Nicole Kidman and Willem Dafoe among others. Before getting his solo adventure, Aquaman will make his debut in "Justice League" along with Mera. They are joined by Ben Affleck's Batman, Henry Cavill's Superman, Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman, Ezra Miller's The Flash and Ray Fisher's Cyborg in the superhero team-up movie scheduled for a November 17 release.
