Lebanese to celebrate full liberation of eastern parts soon: presidentAugust 26, 2017 - 15:38 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Lebanon will celebrate full liberation of the eastern part of the country on Syrian border and returning of security and stability to the area, Lebanese President Michel Aoun said. Aoun made the remarks Saturday, August 26 in a ceremony to mark the 72nd anniversary of establishing General Directorate of General Security of Lebanon. Just like southern Lebanon, the eastern borders will be taken back from Takfiri terrorists, he said. He pointed to abortion of the terrorist plots in disrupting security of the Lebanese people.
