Baku hoped to gain dividends via pushing Karabakh resolution in UN
Unilateral and uncoordinated Azerbaijani resolution has nothing in common with the document at the table, said Tigran Balayan, head of press division of the RA Foreign Ministry, when commenting on Khazar Ibrahim's statement on the Nagorno Karabakh settlement process.

"Azerbaijan, the OSCE MG and the international community know this. Azerbaijan expected to gain some dividends or just wanted to avoid the current settlement process and, consequently, the document under negotiation," he said, the RA MFA press office reported.

On March 14, with 39 votes in favor, 7 against and 100 abstentions, the UN General Assembly adopted the resolution "On the situation on the occupied territories of Azerbaijan." The OSCE MG co-chair states voted against the motion.
