Public dialogue can help the situation in Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - Former presidential hopeful Arman Melikyan has issued a political statement today.

"All political forces in Armenia should address the situation impartially to resolve the crisis in the republic. Both the authorities and opposition, who refused to establish a dialogue and create an atmosphere of trust, are responsible for what has happened in Armenia," the statement says.

According to Arman Melikyan, the lists of voters presented by the RA Central Election Committee were incorrect.

"I have to reiterate that Armenia is not a country where the law overrules. Now, decisions should meet the interests of the society," Mr Melikyan said.

"The only way-out can be establishment of political dialogue between the leadership and opposition, with active participation of the population. Both should stop accusing each other and reach a consensus," he said.
