Armenia participated in NATO PA session

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian parliamentary delegation led by chairman of the standing committee on armament, internal affairs and security Artur Aghabekyan attended the NATO PA spring session in Berlin May 24-27, the RA MFA press office reported.



The Armenian delegation and Ambassador Samvel Mkrtchyan to NATO attended the meetings on politics, defense and security.



German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier, NATO Secretary General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer also addressed the session.



The participants discussed the Alliance's new strategy, energy security and the bloc's expansion eastwards.
