There is a chance to achieve peace between Yerevan and Baku, Azeri MP says
Chairman of the Azeri Party of Democratic Reform, Milli Mejlis member Asim Mollazade is pessimistic about progress in the Nagorno Karabakh settlement talks.

"The position of the current Armenian authorities is an imitation of a negotiation process. Azerbaijan works for a peaceful resolution of the conflict and is willing to continue talks but we fear that Armenia is not. I should also mention that Russia makes attempts to transfer the settlement process to the CIS," he said during Yerevan-Moscow-Baku television space bridge.

"The conflict should be resolved in the framework of Azerbaijan's "territorial integrity," he added.

"We would not like to use Azerbaijan's economic growth as a tool in armament race. We want the South Caucasus to become the region of cooperation," the Azeri MP said. "There is a real chance to achieve peace between Yerevan and Baku."
