Armenia intends to cement cooperation with Russia and U.S.

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia will pursue intensive foreign policy based on national interests and pragmatism that envisages deeper engagement of the republic in international and regional organizations as well as dynamic build-up of bilateral and multilateral relations.

Strategic partnership with Russia is extremely important for Armenia, which intends to strengthen relations via implementation of new mutually beneficial projects, according to Armenia's Foreign Minister.

"Armenia will also develop cooperation with the United States and will work for deeper integration to European structures," Edward Nalbandian said.

"We will cement relations with our partner states and will spare no effort to improve relations with those countries we are experiencing problems with. We want a secure and stable region to live in. This is the evidence of continuity of Armenia's foreign policy. Changes will be insignificant," the Armenian Minister said, Nezavisimaya Gazeta reports.
