Concluding conference on NATO exercise planning kicks off in YerevanJune 24, 2008 - 18:23 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Concluding conference on NATO Cooperative Longbow/Lancer-2008 exercise planning kicked off in Yerevan on June 24. 110 servicemen from 30 states take part in the conference. Representatives from 22 states, 7 of which are NATO member states and 14 are members of Partnership for Peace program will participate in the exercise due in Armenia in September-October 2008, RA Defense Minister's spokesman. Col. Seyran Shahsuvaryan told PanARMENIAN.Net The purpose of the conference is to develop the exercise plan and coordinate legal issues and schedule. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
