BAKU STATES OF INTEREST IN OSCE ACTIVATION IN KARABAKH SETTLEMENTJuly 8, 2003 - 20:36 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Official Baku is interested in activation of the OSCE in the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict. As reported by "Arminfo" agency referring to "Echo" Baku newspaper, stated Azeri deputy foreign minister Araz Azimov. Commenting on the recent cases of breaking the cease-fire regime at the contact line between the armed forces of Azerbaijan and Nagorno Karabakh, A. Azimov noted that if the OSCE Minsk group co-chairs had visited the region the facts would have become subject of consideration by them. At the same time the deputy minister noted that special representative of the OSCE chairman-in-office on the Nagorno Karabakh Andrzej Kasprzyk should collect data on those violations and attract the Council of Europe attention to them.Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
