  ORGANIZATION OF ISLAMIC CONFERENCE CALLED UPON ARMENIAN PARTY TO WITHDRAW TROOPS FROM NAGORNO KARABAKHAugust 13, 2002 - 22:46 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) has called upon the Armenian party to withdraw troops from Nagorno Karabakh and to display proper "respect of the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan." At the same time the OIC expressed disturbance concerning holding presidential elections in Nagorno Karabakh. The Conference also called upon the Azeri government to keep pursuing the policy directed at avoiding military confrontation with Armenia.
