Gazprom to bring gas price for Armenia to European level by 2011

PanARMENIAN.Net - Gazprom Board Chairman Alexey Miller held Tuesday a meeting with ArmRosgazprom Director General Karen Karapetyan.

They specifically discussed the contact which supposes that Gazprom will bring the price for Armenia to the European level by 2011, like for other former-Soviet and European customers. The rise in prices is conditioned by the fact that Gazprom, the owner of ArmRosgazprom's 68 percent of shares, not only sells the gas to Armenia but also participates in its transportation and distribution throughout the republic.
