BROADCASTING IN ARMENIAN LANGUAGE ALLOWED IN TURKEY
According to the resolution of the Turkish parliament, broadcasting in languages of the minority groups residing in the state is allowed in the regions where non-Turkish people are residing. In particular, broadcasting in Armenian, Greek, Kurdish and Hebrew is allowed. It should be also reminded that the Council on coordination of the struggle against the idea of the Genocide in Turkey has satisfied the demand of Turkish citizens wishing to study Armenian language. It should be noted, carrying out reforms regarding the expansion of rights of Turkish citizens, Ankara counts on determination of terms of Turkey's joining the European Union at the December summit.
