Relations with Turkey should be normalized without preconditions, Yerevan insists

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian will meet with his Turkish counterpart Ali Babacan on November 24, on the initiative of the Turkish MFA.



"The Ministers will focus on possibilities to normalize the Armenian-Turkish relations. By saying normalization, we mean establishment of diplomatic relations and opening of borders without preconditions," RA MFA media relations division head Tigran Balayan told PanARMENIAN.Net



Minister Nalbandian will be in Istanbul to attend a meeting of the BSEC Secretariat.



Turkey broke off diplomatic relations and closed the border with Armenia in 1993 over the conflict in Nagorno Karabakh.
