Today the fifth session of the CIS state-members commission on atomic power use for peaceful needs is taking place in Moscow. Representatives of RF Atomic Energy Ministry and CIS executive committee as well as experts of a number of the CIS state-members. Issues on the development of the technical project of the International thermonuclear experimental reactor, cooperation in the sphere of the extraction and processing of uranic ore as well as cooperation in the sphere of the ecology issues are on the meeting agenda. Besides, the participants of the meeting plan to discuss the international project on innovation nuclear reactor and fuel cycle, RIA "Novosti" agency reports.
