Azerbaijani troops use sniper rifles to fire on Armenian positions

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Azerbaijani Armed Forces fired from sniper rifles targeting the Armenian positions, Defense Ministry spokeswoman Shushan Stepanyan said on Tuesday, July 21 evening.

"The Azerbaijani Armed Forces have been warned about the consequences," Stepanyan added.

According to her, the situation on the border is relatively calm.

The situation on the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan, escalated on July 12, with Azerbaijan launching three unsuccessful infiltration attempts in the next four days. The Azerbaijani military also used large caliber grenade launchers and combat drones to target civilian homes in several border settlements in Armenia.
