Armenia: Active Covid-19 cases drop below 9000

PanARMENIAN.Net - The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Armenia grew by 259 to reach 38,196 on Thursday, July 30 morning, according to information provided by the Health Ministry. The number of active cases, meanwhile, has dropped below 9,000․

Fresh figures also revealed that 542 more people have recovered, while five patients have died from Covid-19.

161,754 tests have been performed since the beginning of the outbreak in the country, the National Center For Disease Control and Prevention said.

So far, 28,366 people have recovered, 728 have died from the coronavirus in the country, while 225 others carrying the virus have died from other causes.
