Armenia reports 33 new coronavirus cases, 58 recoveries

PanARMENIAN.Net - The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Armenia grew by 33 to reach 42,825 on Monday, August 24 morning, according to information provided by the Health Ministry. The small number of new infections is due the fact that most laboratories did not work on Sunday.

Fresh figures also revealed that 58 more people have recovered, two patients have died from Covid-19, while one person carrying the virus has died from other causes in the past 24 hours.

A total of 195,574 tests have been performed since the beginning of the outbreak in the country, the National Center For Disease Control and Prevention said.

So far, 36,049 people have recovered, 854 have died from the coronavirus in the country, while 256 others carrying the virus have died from other causes.
