Coronavirus: Armenia reports 72 recoveries in past 24 hours

PanARMENIAN.Net - The number of confirmed coronavirus infection in Armenia grew by 31 to reach 43,781 on Monday, August 31 morning, according to information provided by the Health Ministry. The small number of new infections is due to the fact that most laboratories don't work on Sundays.

Fresh figures also revealed that 72 more people have recovered, two patients have died from Covid-19, while one person carrying the virus has doed from other causes in the past 24 hours.

A total of 205940 tests have been performed since the beginning of the outbreak in the country, the National Center For Disease Control and Prevention said.

So far, 37,722 people have recovered, 879 have died from the coronavirus in the country, while 268 others carrying the virus have died from other causes.
