FM: No comparison between Armenian revolution and Belarus protests

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan has said that he does not accept comparisons drawn between the revolution in Armenia in 2018 and the mass anti-government protests in Belarus, Aysor.am reports.

In an interview with EFE, Mnatsakanyan said "the processes happening in Armenia involved exclusively Armenians, no one else."

"The best lesson is that we reject geopolitics in Armenia. What we have achieved is exclusively ours, and we are satisfied with what we have," the Armenian foreign policy chief said.

Mnatsakanyan also said he hopes the conflict will be resolved in Belarus, adding that "the solution is in the hands of the Belarusians."
