Armenia denies Azeri allegation of firing towards Mingachevir, AghjabadOctober 9, 2020 - 15:11 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Defense Ministry spokeswoman Shushan Stepanyan has denied Azerbaijani allegations that the Armenian forces have opened fire towards Mingachevir and Aghjabad․ "The Defense Army has enough enemy target to attack during the hostilities. We warn that in case of any provocation by the Azerbaijani armed forces against settlements and civilian infrastructure, the response of the Artsakh Defense Army will be disproportionately harsh," Stepanyan said on Facebook Friday, October 9. Azerbaijan, with help from Turkey, launched a large-scale offensive against Karabakh (Artsakh) in the morning of September 27, shelling Armenian positions and civilian settlements with large caliber weapons and rocket systems.
