Three Azeri drones shot down in Armenia, one in Karabakh

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian air defense units downed three Azerbaijani drones in Armenia's airspace and one over Nagorno-Karabakh within a space of one and a half hours on Saturday, October 17, Defense Ministry spokeswoman Shushan Stepanyan said in a Facebook post.

Two Azerbaijani drones were destroyed in the Armenian airspace on Saturday night. The UAVs had managed to target civilian and military objects in the southern province of Syunik, Armenia.

Azerbaijan, with help from Turkey and Syrian and Libyan mercenaries deployed by Ankara, started a war against Karabakh (Artsakh) in the morning of September 27. The Armenian side has reported deaths and injuries both among the civilian population and the military. Foreign and local journalists too have been injured in Azeri shelling of towns and villages.
