Karabakh ready to offer humanitarian corridor for besieged Azeri troops if truce is honored

PanARMENIAN.Net - If Azerbaijan honors the humanitarian truce, the Defense Army of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) is ready to provide a humanitarian corridor to the besieged Azerbaijani troops, Karabakh presidential spokesperson Vahram Poghosyan said Saturday, October 18, according to Armenpress.

Armenia and Azerbaijan agreed on a humanitarian truce in Karabakh beginning from October 18 midnight.

Azerbaijan, with help from Turkey and Syrian and Libyan mercenaries deployed by Ankara, started a war against Karabakh (Artsakh) in the morning of September 27. The Armenian side has reported deaths and injuries both among the civilian population and the military. Foreign and local journalists too have been injured in Azeri shelling of towns and villages.
