Trump praises Armenians' spirit in Nevada campaign rally

PanARMENIAN.Net - U.S. President Trump on Sunday, October 18 campaigned in the state of Nevada, where he praised the spirit of Armenians.

"Armenians, they’re good people. They’re great business people, too, you know," Trump told rally goers.

"Where I just left there were so many Armenians with a beautiful flag. We’re working on some things. You’ve great spirit in your country."

Trump's words that the U.S. is "working on some things" come amid renewed hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh).

Azerbaijan, with help from Turkey and Syrian and Libyan mercenaries deployed by Ankara, started a war against Karabakh (Artsakh) in the morning of September 27. The Armenian side has reported deaths and injuries both among the civilian population and the military. Foreign and local journalists too have been injured in Azeri shelling of towns and villages.
