Azerbaijan bombarding Stepanakert, Martuni

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Azerbaijani units are bombarding the cities of Stepanakert and Martuni in Nagorno-Karabakh, the Armenian Unified Infocenter reports.

Armenian Defense Ministry spokeswoman Shushan Stepanyan told PanARMENIAN.Net that six rockets struck Stepanakert, the capital on Friday, October 23.

Karabakh presidential spokesman Vahram Poghosyan said the Defense Army will retaliate soon: "We have already warned. there will be no forgiveness."

Earlier on Friday, the Azerbaijani air forces targeted the town of Martakert, and while their forces shelled a road connecting the communities of Karegah and Berdzor.

Azerbaijan, with help from Turkey and Syrian and Libyan mercenaries deployed by Ankara, started a war against Karabakh (Artsakh) in the morning of September 27. The Armenian side has reported deaths and injuries both among the civilian population and the military. Foreign and local journalists too have been injured in Azeri shelling of towns and villages.
