Battles of local significance reported in Karabakh

PanARMENIAN.Net - Battles of local significance are taking place in certain sections of the frontline, the Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Army said Wednesday, October 28. The Armenian troops continue destroying the subversive groups of the adversary.

The situation in the conflict zone remained relatively stable, but tense overnight.

On Tuesday evening, the adversary continued to fire at peaceful settlements, particularly, Martuni and villages in the upper sub-district of the Askeran region were targeted.

Azerbaijan, with help from Turkey and Syrian and Libyan mercenaries deployed by Ankara, started a war against Karabakh (Artsakh) in the morning of September 27. The Armenian side has reported deaths and injuries both among the civilian population and the military. Foreign and local journalists too have been injured in Azeri shelling of towns and villages.
