Samvel Karapetyan vows to rebuild Stepanakert maternity hospital

PanARMENIAN.Net - The founder of Tashir Group of Companies and the president of the Association of Armenian Entrepreneurs of Russia, Samvel Karapetyan, is going to rebuild the maternity hospital in Stepanakert, Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) after the facility was heavily bombed by Azerbaijan.

"I want to firmly assure the people of Artsakh that we will definitely build a new modern maternity hospital in Stepanakert. New lives will be born there again," Karapetyan told RIA Novosti.

Azerbaijan used Smerch multiple rocket launchers to fire on Stepanakert and Shushi on Wednesday, October 28, killing and injuring civilians.

Azerbaijan, with help from Turkey and Syrian and Libyan mercenaries deployed by Ankara, started a war against Karabakh (Artsakh) in the morning of September 27. The Armenian side has reported deaths and injuries both among the civilian population and the military. Foreign and local journalists too have been injured in Azeri shelling of towns and villages.
