 142 citizens returned to Armenia from Turkey in a single day October 29, 2020 - 16:19 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - 142 Armenian citizens have returned from Turkey to Armenia in a single day, according to Yetvart Danzikyan, the editor-in-chief of Istanbul-based Agos weekly. Danzikyan's comments come amid a surge in hate speech against Armenians throughout the world. Turkish and Azerbaijani nationals, for instance, staged violent rallies across France and Austria, threatening Armenians and terrorizing residents. Azerbaijan, with help from Turkey and Syrian and Libyan mercenaries deployed by Ankara, started a war against Karabakh (Artsakh) in the morning of September 27. The Armenian side has reported deaths and injuries both among the civilian population and the military. Foreign and local journalists too have been injured in Azeri shelling of towns and villages.
