Azerbaijan opens fire on Stepanakert, Shushi; Civilians injuredNovember 3, 2020 - 22:09 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Azerbaijani military fired Smerch rockets towards the maternity hospital of Stepanakert, the capital of Nagorno-Karabakh, on Tuesday, November 3 evening, injuring two civilians. Both of them are being operated on, the State Service for Emergency Situations reports. The Azeri troops also opened fire on a residential area, as a result of which a garage and a car burst into flames. Besides, three Smerch rockets landed in Shushi where two homes were set ablaze. Firefighters are working to extinguish the fire․ Azerbaijan, with help from Turkey and terrorist mercenaries deployed by Ankara, started a war against Karabakh (Artsakh) in the morning of September 27. The Armenian side has reported deaths and injuries both among the civilian population and the military. Foreign and local journalists too have been injured in Azeri shelling of towns and villages.
