Azerbaijan launches fresh attack south-east of Berdzor

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Azerbaijani forces launched a new attack supported by armoured vehicles south-east of Berdzor on Wednesday, November 4 morning, the Defense Army reports.

The Karabakh troops switched to an active defence role, knocking out Azeri tanks and stopping their attack.

Around three hours later, the Azerbaijanis launched another attack in the same direction, losing two more tanks as well as two infantry fighting vehicles, before being thrown back to their starting positions.

Fighting is currently ongoing in this part of the front line. The Defence Army is in full control of the tactical situation.

Azerbaijan, with help from Turkey and terrorist mercenaries deployed by Ankara, started a war against Karabakh (Artsakh) in the morning of September 27. The Armenian side has reported deaths and injuries both among the civilian population and the military. Foreign and local journalists too have been injured in Azeri shelling of towns and villages.
