Armenia coronavirus infections, death toll continue to rise

PanARMENIAN.Net - The number of confirmed coronavirus infections in Armenia grew by 2175 to reach 106,424 on Sunday, November 8 morning – a record number of new infections in a single day – according to information provided by the Health Ministry.

Fresh figures also revealed that 921 more people have recovered, 26 patients have died from Covid-19, while seven others carrying the virus have died from other causes in the past 24 hours.

A total of 4790 tests have been performed in the past day, the National Center For Disease Control and Prevention said.

So far, 64,179 people have recovered, 1559 have died from the coronavirus in the country, while 405 others carrying the virus have died from other causes.
