Azeri troops filmed toppling, destroying Armenian tombstones

PanARMENIAN.Net - Azerbaijani social media users have been disseminating more footage of their troops in territories ceded by the Armenian side in Nagorno-Karabakh.

In two new videos, Azeri soldiers are filmed toppling and destroying gravestones belonging to deceased Armenians.

Throughout the war between September 27 and November 10, the Azerbaijani armed forces have been committing war crimes against Armenian prisoners of war and civilians, shelling peaceful settlements and destroying indigenous Armenian cultural heritage sites.

In October, Azerbaijani forces launched two targeted attacks on the Holy Savior Ghazanchetsots Cathedral in Shushi. After taking control of the city, they destroyed the domes of Saint John the Baptist Church.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Russian and Azerbaijani Presidents Vladimir Putin and Ilham Aliyev on November 9 signed a statement to end the war in Karabakh after almost 45 days. Under the deal, the Armenian side is returning all the seven regions surrounding Nagorno-Karabakh, having lost a part of Karabakh itself in hostilities.
