Aliyev disrespects OSCE envoys, tells them to speak before cameras

PanARMENIAN.Net - Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has declared that he has not invited the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group to Baku, RIA Novosti reports.

The U.S. and French co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group arrived in Baku on Saturday, December 12 and met with Aliyev.

“Coming here (to Baku - Ed.) was your idea. I can say again in front of the cameras I did not invite the Minsk Group on a visit, but when I was informed that they wanted to come, I said I didn’t mind. Maybe they have something to tell me," Aliyev's office cited him as saying.

"If you want to tell me anything in front of the cameras, do so. If not, I will ask you to leave. I am listening."

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Russian and Azerbaijani Presidents Vladimir Putin and Ilham Aliyev on November 9 signed a statement to end the war in Karabakh after almost 45 days. Under the deal, the Armenian side has returned all the seven regions surrounding Nagorno-Karabakh, having lost a part of Karabakh itself in hostilities.
