Karabakh slams Azerbaijani propaganda provocation about Hadrut

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Army on Monday, December 28 described Azerbaijan's claims of an alleged attack by Armenian forces on Azeri troops as a provocation.

"The Azerbaijani side continues to spread disinformation about an alleged attack on an Azeri army unit by "an Armenian armed group" yesterday," the Defense Army said Monday.

"No subdivision of the Karabakh Defense Army, no serviceman has taken part in any operation, no emergency accident has been registered, not a single bullet has been fired by the Armenian side neither yesterday, nor today.

"In this case, the statement issued by the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan can not be described as anything other than a propaganda provocation."

The Defense Army said Karabakh troops strictly abide by the ceasefire

The Ministry of Defense of Armenia too has denied media reports about the alleged resumption of hostilities in Hadrut region of Artsakh (Karabakh).

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Russian and Azerbaijani Presidents Vladimir Putin and Ilham Aliyev on November 9 signed a statement to end the war in Karabakh after almost 45 days. Under the deal, the Armenian side has returned all the seven regions surrounding Nagorno-Karabakh, having lost a part of Karabakh itself in hostilities.
