Aronian draws the game vs. World Champion Viswanathan Anand
In the 9th tour of Linares 2009 Chess Tournament, Armenian grandmaster Levon Aronian rivaled World Champion, Indian grandmaster Viswanathan Anand, defeated by Aronian in the first round of the tournament. The chess players agreed on a draw in the 30 th move of the set.

Russian grandmaster Alexander Grischuk and Chinese Wang Yue scored an equal number of points. Grischuk has taken a 1 point lead over Aronian and Carlsen, and is now a sole tournament leader with 6 points.

Today, in the 10th tour of Linares 2009 Levon Aronian will play against Teimour Radjabov, who made him a draw in the 3 rd tour of the 1st round.
