PanARMENIAN.Net - The coronavirus situation is "pretty manageable" in Armenia, newly-appointed Health Minister Anahit Avanesyan said Thursday, January 21, according to Aysor.am.

Asked whether she agrees that former Health Minister Arsen Torosyan has failed the fight against Covid-19, Avanesyan said "it is not acceptable to talk about failure."

Avanesyan was named the country's Health Minister on January 19 when Torosyan resigned from the post and was appointed the chief of government staff.
