Under the project, 6,000 wounded soldiers will receive a one-off social assistance in the amount of AMD 500,000 (about $1,000), excluding persons with disabilities who are already getting financial assistance. Labor and Social Affairs Minister Mesrop Arakelyan said Wednesday that not only conscripts, but also reserve soldiers and volunteers will benefit from the program. According to him, some of the soldiers have received light injuries, and the project seeks to solve social consequences of having been unable to work for some time.
